Our Air Fryer Squash recipe is great recipe for kids struggling with constipation!

Butternut squash is a great source of fiber, which helps us to stay full until the next meal or snack. Since this recipe features butternut squash, it has healthy carbohydrates and calcium which support the heart, muscles and nerves.

Feel free to get creative and try different seasonings to switch up the flavor profile!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Butternut Squash (peeled, seeds removed, cubed)

  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika

  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

  • Sea Salt & Black Pepper (to taste)

  • 1/16 oz Avocado Oil Spray

A note on ingredient quality: If possible, choose ingredients that are organic and non-GMO. Directions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390ºF (200ºC).

  2. In a large bowl combine the squash, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss well to coat.

  3. Add the squash to the basket of the air fryer in an even layer and spray with oil. Bake for ten minutes. Remove, shake the basket and bake for eight to ten minutes longer, until cooked through.

  4. Divide onto plates and enjoy!

  • Leftovers

    • Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to three days.

    • One serving is one cup.

  • Avocado Oil Spray

    • One gram (or 0.03 ounces) of avocado oil spray is equal to a one-second spray.
